In 2016, I began working as a stock model to help diversify the images presented in mainstream media

Representation Matters

I view modeling as an opportunity to promote positive images of African-American women and as a method to promote body positivity among women of all colors, shapes, and sizes.
❤️
I'm on a journey to love myself while I work to improve. I'm beginning to embrace every curve, corner, and crevice of my beautiful, brown body and I aim to inspire other women to do the same.

As a model, I tap into my acting abilities and view modeling as an extended form of performance. To me, to model is to create art, to evoke emotion(s), to convey a message or tell a story (just like an actor does), but without the use of words. Photos have that power.   -Nicolette Lynch
